What is VJAS?
VJAS is a statewide science research community for Virginia students in grades 7–12. Students choose a research question, write a scientific paper, submit it for review, and may be selected to present at the annual VJAS Symposium. Students can also attend, learn from peers, receive feedback from experts, apply for awards, publish abstracts, and take on student leadership roles.
